Hot Hogs Spitroast Catering provide a mobile catering service which is flexible to your individual catering needs. Go the ‘whole hog’ for a wedding reception or special occasion with our delicious canapés, followed by a succulent hog roast with crunchy crackling, served with freshly prepared salads, a whole poached salmon and other vegetarian choices, followed by one of our scrumptious desserts served with lashing of Devonshire clotted cream, and rounded off with coffee and mints.
Or if you prefer, we can provide tasty hog rolls, succulent meat and crunchy crackling in a freshly baked roll from our local bakery, served with real bramley apple sauce and homemade stuffing. Or why not try our prime South Devon roast beef served with horseradish in a freshly baked roll? Our families’ South Devon herd has been reared on the lush South Devon grass, resulting in delicious tasting meat!
Whichever package you choose you can be assured that we always use good quality produce, which is local where possible. All of our meat is free range and locally sourced. The beef is home reared.
If it is a special occasion, our delicious buffets will be served by our team of experienced waitresses, who will look after your guests throughout the meal. All crockery and cutlery will be supplied by us, and we can organize other necessary items such as table linen and wine glasses, if required.

Cheese Cakes
Fruit cake is so last year… so surprise your wedding guests with a fantastic tiered cheesecake! Cheese Cakes are stunning to look at, and divine to eat, so provide the perfect finale to any dinner party.
Prices start at £175 for a 4 tiered cake that caters for 50 people.

Party Sizes
Our hog and beef roasts cater for parties of 80-150 people.
Our ram roast (lamb) caters for 45-50 people.
We do not cater for parties of less than 45 people.
The maximum we can cater for is 500 people.
Cooking Times
Our hog roast takes between 4 and 8 hours to cook, depending on the weight of the pig.
Beef roast takes between 4-8 hours to slow cook.
Lamb cooks in 3 - 4 hours.
Machine Information
We have a custom build spit roast machine which is gas fired, it does not require electricity.
We can cook in most locations, provided we have good access for the machine which is 2m long and 1.5m wide.
It cannot go up or downs steps due to the weight as it is very heavy when full.
It cannot go around sharp corners easily due to the length.
